The Gift of Music

Thursday, October 20, 2011
On Monday, Annon and the Late Show frontman Rod Warfield (aka, Roderick Annon) donated a signed copy of the local band's new release "Memories Lost in Translation" to the Putnam County Public Library. Warfield, center, made the donation to PCPL community relations director Margot Payne, left, and PCPL director Alice Greenburg. Warfield has spent the last four years going back and forth between the United States and Costa Rica, studying the Central American nation's music and culture. The new album reflects those influences. The band will be playing a CD release party at Hoods and Capers on Saturday, Oct. 29. The show will be a mix of live music from Annon and TLS and a viewing of the video for "Requiem Blues," which features Putnam County Sheriff Steve Fenwick and deputy T.J. Smith. A full story and interview with Warfield will appear on the Oct. 27 Marquee page.
