WGRE to broadcast field hockey, soccer tournament action

DePauw's WGRE 91.5 will broadcast a pair of North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal games today.

DePauw field hockey plays the College of Wooster at 3 p.m., while DePauw men's soccer battles Hiram College at 5 p.m.

Michael Appelgate and Alex Sroka will call the field hockey action live from Blackstock West Field on the campus of DePauw University. Second-seeded DePauw enters the semifinals matchup at 15-2 overall with the team's only NCAC defeat coming against Denison University on October 29. Wooster, the third seed, is currently 9-9 overall with an 8-6 NCAC mark.

WGRE's coverage of NCAC Tournament play continues in the evening with DePauw men's soccer. Kyle Robbins and Brian Alkire will have the call live from DePauw's Boswell Field. The two seed, DePauw is 14-2-1 overall and 8-1 in NCAC competition this season. Hiram went 10-5-1 overall and 5-4 in the NCAC to secure the tournament's third seed.

Tiger Talk, WGRE DePauw sports talk show, will air following the conclusion of the men's soccer game.
