PCYSA 3-on-3 tourneys successful

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Putnam County Youth Soccer Association I would like to thank everyone who participated in our second annual 3-on-3 soccer tournaments.

All of the participants from Brazil to Cascade that made the "Flying Pumpkins" and "Rising Moon" tournaments such a success. We had lots of participants from ages 8 to 30-plus.

I would also like to thank all of our donors for their wonderful contributions to help make our prize bags so terrific.

The donors are: Pacesetter Sports for T-shirts, arm warmers and sports brief case and discount certificates; Walmart's donation of $50 gift card to purchase items for the prize bags; McDonald's for their smoothie gift cards; Goody's for the two bags; Jackson's Double Decker for the $5 gift certificate; Putnam Inn for their two $5 gift certificates; Ashley Square Cinemas for their 10 movie passes; Family Video for their video discount cards; Dunkin Donuts for their gift certificates; and Chevy Motor Company for the soccer merchandise.

We hope when we do our first soccer tournament for the spring it will be as great a success as the fall tournament.
