Soon it will be Christmas Day...

The song "Gloria" is one of several songs to be performed by the Russellville Community Christmas Choir during the 10th annual Christmas concert at the Russellville Community Center. Under the direction of Jamie France, this year's "Gift of Christmas" concert will feature the 80-member adult choir, a 50-member children's choir, soloists and Visions of Praise, a sign language praise team. Shows begin today at 7 p.m. and will continue on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend, and the event will feature a pre-concert dinner at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon on Sunday. Admission to the concert is free.

  • I went last year for the first time and was simply amazed. A huge production and extremely well done. Looking forward to attending this year!

  • I attended rehersal last night and I will tell you, it was fantastic! One of the best ever. I am looking forward to attending tonight. Hope to see you all there--and be sure to go early and eat. They have great cooks and the food is wonderful. And remember to give generously to the free will offering bag. The Russellville Comunity Center board works really hard to keep the building open and all of the money comes from the events they hold. (And, no, I am not on the board!) If you can't make it tonight, it will be held again tomorrow night and Sunday afternoon.

  • We went tonight and it was fantastic. The house was full and overflowing to the bleachers. Food was great. Highly recommend this.
