Cloverdale goes 2-3 at WEBO Duals

THORNTOWN -- The Cloverdale wrestling team went 2-3 this past weekend at the WEBO Duals at Western Boone High School. They defeated Clinton Prairie 54-12 and nipped Crawfordsville 34-33. They lost matches against Western Boone (60-12), Frankfort (59-24) and Tri-West 36-33).

Eldin Hesselgrave went 5-0 on the day with three pins, while Bill Petrosky was 4-1, with all wins coming by pins. Max Waycott, Nick Schwomeyer and Cody Stout went 3-2 on the day. Also picking up wins on the day were Wade Warren, John Smith, Jacob Gibson and Clayton Byrd.

The Clovers will next be in action when they host the Putnam County Tournament Dec. 15 at 5:30 p.m.
