An adapted version of the film classic will come to the stage when Greencastle Christian Church presents "It's a Wonderful Life, the Musical" at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10 in the church worship center. Community members, church members and Putnam County Playhouse veterans have teamed up to bring the classic Christmas tale to life. Among the players are, from left, Dustin Bond as George Bailey, Meghan Armitage as Mary Bailey, Brad Sandy as Uncle Billy, Jim Poor as Mr. Potter, Ric McFadden as Clarence, Shane Johnson as Harry Bailey and Sarah Bond as Ruth Bailey.

  • After royalties and expenses have been paid, the remainder of the monies collected from ticket sales will go to mission work. This is an excellent way to spend an enjoyable evening at Christmas time. Greencastle has not had anything like this before. See it this Friday or Saturday.
