William "Bill" E. Williams, 38, of Reelsville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012.

Bill was born Jan. 29, 1973 in Terre Haute, the son of William Dean and Patricia Kay (Southard) Williams.

Bill graduated from Southern High School in Stronghurst, Ill., with the class of 1991 and then graduated from Lincoln Tech in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1992 with a degree in Automotive Technology.

Throughout his career as a mechanic Bill had received many additional certificates in the mechanical field. Bill had worked as a mechanic at Smith Motors and Jerry's Automotive, both in Brazil, and Peyton-Wells General Motors Dealership, Allen Automotive in Indianapolis.

Most recently Bill was working as the shop foreman for Corbitt and Sons Construction Co., also in Indianapolis.

Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends, partaking in various outdoor activities. He will be remembered as a hardworking, loving and devoted father of Tyler and Jacob. Bill especially enjoyed watching his sons play football for South Putnam High School.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William D. Williams, and a brother in infancy, Anthony Wayne Williams.

Bill is survived by his two sons, Tyler D. Williams and Jacob D. Williams;his loving mother and stepfather, Pat and John Setty; a sister, Kim Williams and fiancé Gary "Dozer" Hall; niece Emily Bowman; aunt and uncle Warren and Peggy Williams as well as several extended family members and friends.

Services will be conducted at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21. Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery, Terre Haute.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Friday.
