All proceeds from the sale will be directed to the Greencastle Christian Church Greenlee Family Fund to assist the Becky and Troy Greenlee family with medical bills from her hospitalization.
Sale hours are 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Most items at the rummage sale will be sold "by donation," meaning the buyer sets the price.
Large items, such a stove donated by Ridpath PTO, will have price tags indicating the suggested donation.
During the sale a silent auction will also be conducted, with a cut-off on bidding at 2 p.m. There will be a long list of items up for bid as the community interest in participating has been overwhelming, organizers said.
Identity Salon, Extreme Tanning, Pizza King, the Pink Pumpkin Bakery, Shmakes Cakes, West Central Veterinary and Red Barn Farms are a few businesses that have signed on early to participate. A full listing of the items up for auction will be posted on the GCC website (greencastlecc.org) on Wednesday preceding the sale.
Organizers are still working out details on the "virtual bidding" because of a number of requests. Interested persons can check the Greencastle Christian Church Facebook page for info on bidding options later in the week.
Donations are still sought for the sale. All donations can be dropped off at the church daily during office hours (8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday).
Organizers also offer pick up on large and small items by contacting Angela Huff at 720-9019 or posting on the Facebook page to arrange for pick up.
There will also be a bake sale during the event and donations will be accepted on Friday and Saturday (day of the sale).
All proceeds from the sale will be directed to the Greencastle Christian Church Greenlee Family Fund.
For questions about the sale, persons may contact the Greencastle Christian Church office at 653-5816 or post them on the church Facebook page.
