Glen Eugene Cofer, 88, Indianapolis, died Saturday morning, Jan. 21, 2012 at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born in Parke County, he was the son of William Vern Cofer and Artie Inez (Fowler) Cofer. He married Letha Louise (Irwin) Cofer on June 8, 1946.
He worked at Chevrolet for five years and worked at Chrysler for 25 years.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Cofer of Spencer, Gary Cofer and wife Jeanette of Cloverdale, Gail Cofer and wife Donna of Indianapolis and Kevin Cofer of Indianapolis; daughter Cindy Haspel and husband Don of Indianapolis; sister Vernie June Frost of Florida; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, brother James Russel Cofer and his parents.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at Devon Hills Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6345 Rucker Rd., Indianapolis.
