North Putnam High School will crown its 2012 Winter Homecoming King and his court on Friday, Feb. 3, between the girls and boys basketball games against South Putnam. Senior King candidates (seated, from left) are Nic Stanley, Allain St. Victor-Duncan and Tyler Shorter. Underclass Prince candidates are juniors (seated, from left) Zach Green, Trevor Smith and Kyler Badten, (standing) freshmen Michael Roberts, Aaron Green and Emmett Holsapple, and sophomores Beau Green, Jordan Nauert and Shane Beaman. Not pictured is freshman candidate Jake Riggen. During the week, students and staff dressed in pajamas, cowboy, '80s favorite sports team, and school colors attire as part of Spirit Week activities. Students also competed in coed basketball games, culminating in the student winner taking on a faculty team at a pep session on Friday. Besides the coronation Friday night, cheerleaders from both South and North Putnam squads will perform a routine together, and the North Putnam dance team will also entertain.
