St. Andrew's marks season of feasts and fasts

The people of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 520 E. Seminary St., Greencastle, invite members of the community to join them on Tuesday, Feb. 21, for their annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper from 5:30-7 p.m. in the parish hall.

Proceeds from free-will donations will be given to the Non-Food Pantry, which helps persons on food stamps with items that food stamps do not cover, such as laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels and other necessities.

On Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22, as St. Andrew's marks the beginning of the season of Lent, services of Holy Eucharist with the opportunity for meditative prayer and the imposition of ashes will be offered at 7 a.m., noon, and 7 p.m. in the church. All are welcome.
