Past Presidents Extension Club to sponsor March 3 garage sale

The Putnam County Past Presidents Extension Club will sponsor its annual Garage Sale on Saturday, March 3 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Community Building at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

The event will house many booths offering craft items, gently used articles, food products, books and other attractions.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to help the Extension Homemaker clubs and their activities countywide.

Past Presidents Club membership is composed of former presidents of the Putnam County Extension Council, which coordinates affairs of all county Extension clubs.

Extension clubs serve the needs of individuals and their community with donations of time, money, food, clothing and whatever else is required. Members also enjoy socializing with other members and learning new skills and ideas from lessons shared at their monthly meetings.
