Diane McClure

Diane McClure, 66, of Brazil, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Sept. 17, 1945 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Ernest and Lelia (Phillips) Williams. She married Bill McClure on April 6, 1973 and he survives.

Diane had worked at DePauw University in housekeeping for more than 20 years, retiring in 2005.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; four daughters, Lisa (John) Rumley of Greencastle, Cheryl (Mike) Phillips of Greencastle, Frankie Croan of Greencastle and Desire' (Steve) Farrell of Brazil; a sister, Garnet Gorham of Greencastle; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Ernie Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, March 5 from 4-8 p.m.
