CLOVERDALE -- Kindergarten Round-Up is scheduled for Tuesday, April 3 at the Cloverdale Elementary School from 6-7 p.m.
Children who are five years of age on or before Aug. 1, 2012 are eligible for enrollment for the 2012-13 school year.
On April 3, parents need to bring the following three items for their child: A birth certificate, immunization record and Social Security number.
These items will be copied and attached to a child's school records. In order for the child to be assigned to a classroom, the office must have the birth certificate and the immunization record.
It is also important that parent and child come on April 3. Parent and child will be able to tour kindergarten classrooms, visit a school bus and gather all important information about what the child can be working on before coming to kindergarten.
Testing for class placement will take place at the registration in August. It is important that all necessary paperwork be completed in April.
Anyone who has a child who will be five years of age on or before Aug. 1, 2012, is urged to come to CES on April 3. Plan to bring your child and all the necessary information.
