TERRE HAUTE -- Ivy Tech Community College--Wabash Valley will host a Job Fair on Thursday, March 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on its main campus at 8000 S. Education Drive, Terre Haute.

The annual event is open to all Ivy Tech students, alumni and community members and is an opportunity for area employers to share job opportunities and advice and Ivy Tech alumni to share job tips and encouragement to those seeking to turn a job into a career.

This year Career Services expects 30-35 employers to attend the Job Fair. Those already registered represent both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Jaime Frey, director of Career Services, said the Job Fair is a long-standing tradition at Ivy Tech that has proven to be of great benefit to all involved.

"This event is a win-win for everyone," Frey said. "Employers get to prospect early for potential employees and students get to network with people who understand what it takes to put yourself on a life-long career path."

Ivy Tech Career Services has hosted a Job Fair for its students for at least 20 years.

Those wanting more information about this year's Job Fair may contact Career Services at (812) 298-2282 or jfrey@ivytech.edu.
