GHS Key Club collecting for tornado victims

Monday, March 19, 2012

The Greencastle Key Club is collecting goods for southern Indiana tornado victims, and would welcome community support of this effort.

The club is collecting non-perishable food items such as canned goods, boxes of pasta, macaroni and cheese, hamburger helper, instant or canned potatoes, peanut butter, jelly and canned meats.

Key Club sponsor Candy Fiscus said they have also thought of personal hygiene products like combs, brushes, tooth brushes, toothpaste, soap and hand cream.

Baby items such as diapers, formula, baby food, wipes, blankets and pajamas are also welcome.

"Anything people can imagine they might need if they were in the same situation," Fiscus said.

Community donations may be dropped off at the GHS front office until Thursday, March 22, the last day before Greencastle's spring break.

For more information, contact Fiscus at 653-9711 or cfiscus@greencastle.k12.in.us.
