Get Bach

Thursday, March 22, 2012

In honor of Johann Sebastian Bach's 327th birthday, the DePauw School of Music celebrated on Wednesday with Bach Everywhere. The celebration included music faculty and students playing an informal lunch concert at Gobin United Methodist Church, as well as performances at the Hub, the Roy O. West Library, the administration building, Peeler Art Center, the Great Hall of the Green Center, Greek houses and in classrooms. Prof. Eric Edberg brought his cello to the Greencastle Rotary Club meeting, playing Bach's "Courante in G Major" for the members. Edberg and 12 School of Music students also performed for an assembly at Ridpath Primary School.
