Central Elementary held its annual Health Fair on Wednesday morning which was attended by third-graders of Fillmore, Reelsville and Central elementaries. Students were given presentations by the American Red Cross, Putnam County Health Department, the Indiana State Police, Dr. John Hennette's dental office, Putnam County Family Support Services, Operation Life and the Putnam County Tobacco Prevention and Cessation.

Kathie Skeel of the American Red Cross talked to Central Elementary students, Madison Trisler, Macie Bumgardner, Eva Hubbard and Kendra Nichols learned about the importance of CPR and having a disaster escape plan.
Sgt. Joe Watts talked to Fillmore Elementary students about safety precautions.
