Roberta L. Ooley, age 81, of Brazil died at 10:10 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2012 in St. Vincent Clay Hospital in Brazil.

Born Sept. 27, 1930 in Brazil, Roberta was the daughter of Lyle and Elizabeth Thomas Reinoehl.

She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1948. Both Roberta and her twin brother, Robert, received special recognition for having perfect attendance in school for 12 years.

Roberta was a lifelong member of McKinley Hill Church of Christ.

On Dec. 15, 1949 in Terre Haute, she married Bud Ooley, who preceded her in death.

A member of The Lena Club, she also enjoyed crossword puzzles and having dinner with her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Ooley of Indianapolis, Larry Ooley of Terre Haute, Mike (Debbie) Ooley of Greenwood, and Andy (Jenny) Ooley of Cloverdale; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Phil and Dean Reinoehl, both of Brazil.

Two sisters-in-law, Jackie Thomas of Greencastle and Joan Wells of Brazil, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ruth and Jim Tibbits of Mentone, Ind., and a special daughter-in-law, Marsha Horn of Florida, also survive her.

Her parents; husband; son Mark Ooley; four brothers, Wilbur, who died in World War II, twin brother Robert, Les and Dave Reinoehl; and two sisters, Lois Willison and Olive Sumner, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27 at Moore Funeral Home, Brazil. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Steve Reinoehl officiating.

Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery with Pastor Rick Thomas officiating.
