The Puckett brothers have struck again. Dan Puckett (left) and his brother Frank captured the 2012 Flight Championship this past week at the Horseshoe Bay Resort Stampede Golf Tournament. Dan is a resident of Cloverdale and plays golf regularly at Clover Meadows. Frank, who resides in Texas, grew up in Putnam County and is a former sports editor of the Banner Graphic. Over 100 golfers took part in the three day golf tournament. The Puckett brothers shot a gross score of three under par 66-77-70-213 and net score of 26-under-par 58-70-62-190. Horseshoe Bay is a resort located about 50 miles northeast of Austin (TX). The competition took place on three championship golf courses located at the resort and designed by Robert Trent Jones. The duo won the 2010 ESPN Golf Challenge finals in Las Vegas.
