Chamber talk grapples with corporate health solutions

Monday, May 14, 2012

SIHO Insurance Services will present a program on corporate health solutions at the Tuesday, May 22 Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce quarterly luncheon.

The talk is slated for noon at The Inn at DePauw.

SIHO vice president Donn Duhon and director of TPA sales Kylie Schneider will share the topics of health education, benefit design and steerage ideas to create the most cost-effective plan for businesses and their employees.

They will also explain why the best discount does not always equal the best deal.

Cost is $5 per person. RSVPs are due to the Chamber of Commerce by Thursday, May 17 at 16 S. Jackson St. or by fax at 848-1015.

For questions, call the Chamber at 653-4517.

Healthcare is not subject to normal market forces! Anything that you have to buy at any random moment in order not to die is not something to which a rational supply/demand calculus can apply. Check out "Penny Health" articles on how to reduce the cost of insurance.
