Rick Alexander (right) of Wal-Mart Distribution presents a check in the amount of $1,000 to (from left) Mary Alison Children's Trust board member Mike Goss, president Jim Jackson and treasurer Ginger Scott. "The Walmart Foundation and the Facility 6022 are pleased to assist the Mary Allison Children's fulfilling the needs of our children in Putnam County from medicine to doctor appointments to school supplies," Alexander said. "We believe that the Mary Allison Children's Trust is doing important work to the communities you serve and we are proud to be able to support your efforts. Thank you for the work your organization does to create opportunities so children can live better." The Mary Allison Children's Trust relies on the generosity Trust Patrons, Trust Partners and Trust Friends, along with the annual golf outing, to raise the necessary funds to provide the funds needed to assist the nine elementary schools in Putnam County. The golf outing will be July 13 at Clover Meadows Golf Course. Hole-in-one contest will be sponsored by York Automotive, Greencastle. For more information on Patron, Partners, Friends or the golf outing, contact Jackson at 522-1000, Scott at 655-2333, Joe Ferguson at 653-9258 or Darren Hughes at 720-0946.
