Accepting an old computer monitor from Larry and Donna Bouslog of Greencastle, a West Central Solid Waste District employee prepares to place it on a nearby skid during the recent Tox-Away Day effort at the Putnam County Fairgrounds. The totals are in from West Central on another successful Tox-Away Day. Over the five-hour period on May 19, 500 vehicles brought in 552 tires, 303 electronic items (including TVs) and 85 appliances, West Central spokesman Jane Collisi reported.
