The 14th annual Purdue Open Golf Scramble, sponsored by the Purdue Club of Putnam County, will be played June 27 at Old Hickory Golf Course.
Purdue guests for the scramble and dinner will include Cornell Jackson, football running backs coach; Terry Kix, women's basketball supervisor of operations; John Sautter from the Purdue Alumni Association; and Gold & Black Illustrated sportswriter Kyle Charters.
Registration for the scramble will begin at 11 a.m. followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. The scramble will begin at 12:30 p.m. Dinner following the scramble will take place at Autumn Glen at 6:30 p.m.
The public is invited to both the scramble and the dinner events, at which the club's 2012 scholarship recipients will be honored.
The cost for golf and lunch is $50 per person or $200 for a team. Dinner cost is $20 per person. Gold hole sponsorships are available for $100 and Black hole sponsorships for $50.
Proceeds from the annual golf scramble benefit the club's scholarship fund with the Putnam County Community Foundation.
