Greencastle School Board seeks applicants for park board

The Greencastle School Board is soliciting applications for its appointment to the Greencastle Park Board.

The school board is responsible for appointing an ex officio member to the park board. Previously, the appointee has been a school board member, with Monica Fennell most recently serving, up until her resignation from the school board in January.

However, board members learned at their June meeting that they may appoint any interested adult from the school district to the park board.

Interested parties must be at least 18 years of age and reside in Greencastle or Madison townships. Letters of interest and resumes should be turned in to the corporation's central office by Tuesday, July 10.
