Ronna L. Chappell, 39, Tavernier, Fla., died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Jackson Memorial Hospital after a painful battle with ALS.
Born in Putnam County on Aug. 16, 1972, she was the daughter of Judith Ann Smedley Allee and Ronnie H. Allee.
She worked for the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association. She was the director of the Indiana Licensed Beverage Association.
She had the honor of working for Congressman John Myers in Washington, D.C.
While residing in Florida, she was employed by the Islamorada Fish Company and Century 21 Keysearch.
Ronna was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie H. Allee; his parents, Alice Marie Allee and F.M. Allee; her uncle, Tim Allee; and her grandfather, Morris (Jum) Smedley.
She is survived by her mother, Judith Allee; her grandmother, Emma Alice Smedley; several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends; plus her beloved pets, Monty, Captain and Buttercup.

Ronna chose to be cremated and her ashes spread in the ocean in the Florida Keys she loved.
