Effective at midnight Friday, July 20, the Van Bibber Lake Conservancy District Board of Directors is asking all residents of Van Bibber Lake Estates to curtail excess use of water.
The board is asking that no water be used at this time to fill swimming pools, wash cars or operate a slip and slide, for example.
Anything that might use excessive water will not be allowed, officials said.
Residents may water gardens and yards only between 8 and 11 p.m. on Sundays, Tuesdays or Thursdays.
Anyone violating this request will be subject to a fine and/or shutoff of water service, Van Bibber officials said.
