Darrell L. Moore

Darrell L. Moore, 54, of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Danville Regional Rehabilitation.

Darrell was born April 8, 1958, the son of the late Carl G. and Ruby (Plumlee) Moore.

Darrell was a retired mechanic and also worked for F.B. Distro distribution center in Greencastle.

Throughout his life he had a love for animals, his favorite pets were named Ginger and Sandy.

Mr. Moore was an avid pool player. He won one state tournament and many other tournaments.

Mr. Moore loved life and loved yard sales. He was known for his bartering and loved getting that "good deal" on anything.

Darrell was devoted and volunteered much of his time of his time to the former Ray's Mission in Cunot.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Bell.

Survivors include his wife, Monica R. (David) Moore of Cloverdale; brother Donald Moore of Indianapolis; sisters Dianne Bell and Donna (Alan) Emberton, both of Avon; stepson Paul Campbell of Coatesville; stepdaughter Marcy (Jared) Wilson of Brazil, four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21 at the Family Worship Center, 8157 N. County Road 425, Brazil (U.S 40 and Staunton Road), with Rev. Dick Shir officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials, Clinton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Kidney Foundation in Darrell's name.
