Mary Jane Wilson, 70, of Clay City, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at her home unexpectedly.

She was born Oct. 24, 1941 in Clay County, the daughter of Alfred and Grace Cooper. Following her birth and her parents' untimely death, she was adopted to Clyde and Ruby Wilson.

She attended Van Buren High School.

Mary worked as a sales person for Pacesetter Windows in Indianapolis. There she received the top national sales person award five times.

Mary loved spending time with family and friends but cats were her greatest enjoyment.

She also enjoyed crocheting and spending time going to yard sales and shopping.

Mary was preceded in death by her birth parents as well as her adopted parents; sisters Bea Robinson and Dorothy Smith; brothers John Cooper, A.T. Cooper, and Frank Cooper; and niece Debbie Shelton.

She leaves behind her son, Johnny Jacob Woodrow Wilson and wife Leann of Sheridan, Ind.; daughter Cathy "Tass" Froderman and husband James "J.D." of Cory; grandchildren Bradley James Rodriguez of Cory, Danielle Halbrooks and husband Daniel of Alabama, Nick Wilson of Florida, Brice Wilson of Florida, Michael "Mickey" and wife Tori Torres of New Palestine and Derrick Torres of North Carolina; great-grandchildren Autumn, Aaron and Nathaniel; sisters Barbara Mancini of Louisiana, Maxine Shelton of Columbus, Ind., and Edna Love of Franklin; brother Dave Wilson, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28 at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, Brazil, with Father John Hollowell officiating.

A gathering of friends and family will be Saturday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of services.
