Marilyn J. Husted, 77, of Cloverdale, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012.

She was born on Nov. 6, 1934 in Beech Grove to Leonard E. Gebhart and Lokeel Emerich Gebhart.

Marilyn attended Franklin Township High School in Wanamaker and had been employed at Western Auto and Bob Evans in Indianapolis, and most importantly, she was a mother and homemaker.

Her parents and half brother Gene Gebhart preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jack F. Husted; four children, Shirley Young and husband Robert of Cloverdale, Philip Husted and wife Karen of Noblesville, Michael Husted of Greenfield and Donald Husted and wife Rayetta of Whiteland; a sister, Sharon Wheat of Reelsville; two brothers, Richard Gebhart and wife Shirley of Winamac and Larry Gebhart and wife Chris of Naples, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Randy McNeely officiating. Interment will follow at Putnamville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
