Rose Mary Normington

Rose Mary Normington, 77, of Greenwood (formerly of Greencastle), passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012.

She was born April 21, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late Lee and Marjorie VanJelgerhius.

Rose Mary graduated from Indiana Central and worked as a teacher for the Beech Grove schools.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel, William and Lee VanJelgerhius.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harry F. Normington; children Andy (Tara) Normington, Peggy (James) Davis and Marjorie (Bill) Taylor; sister Helen Whittington; grandchildren Hannah and Holly Davis and Rebecca Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 1 in Wildwood Evangelical Free Church (meets at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church), 1010 S. First Street, Greencastle, IN 46135, of which she was a member.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
