Weekly events at the Putnam County Senior Center

Under the management of new director Sharon Pitcock, the Putnam County Senior Center would like to alert the public of the following ongoing programs.

From 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, the Senior Center hosts budget shopping for clothing, furniture, toys, books and other items. People of all ages are welcome to shop at the Senior Center.

At 8 a.m. each week day, the center has coffee, donuts and conversation.

Each Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m. is Senior Exercise.

At 1 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday, the center hosts euchre, train and other games.

The Putnam County Senior Center is located on the north side of Courthouse Square at 9 W. Franklin St.

So happy to see a new director on the job. Maybe we will have something going on, now. Could we have some tours like we used to have??? Several people have asked about that. Good Luck on the job.
