Melissa Lynne Hardcastle-Plott

Melissa Lynne Hardcastle-Plott, 44, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.

She was born Feb. 28, 1968. She was the daughter of Joyce Hardcastle-Cline and stepdaughter of Bernie Cline.

Melissa attended Northwest High School in Indianapolis. She worked as a barber at Fiesta and Great Clips.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Plott; four children, Dwayne Doolin Jr., Kyle Doolin, Britany Doolin and Blake Doolin; ex-husband Dwayne Doolin Sr.; stepdaughter Devon Plott; three grandsons; five siblings, Leah Hardcastle, L. Keith Hardcastle, Chuck Hardcastle, Poppy Randel and Stacey Hardcastle-Camacho; as well as 10 nephews and 10 nieces.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9 at Conkle Funeral Home, 4925 W. 16th St., Indianapolis. The visitation is from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

A graveside service will follow at Lincoln Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6851 S. Indianapolis Rd., Whitestown.

A memorial fund has been set up through PNC Bank. The fund is under her mother's name, Joyce L. Cline c/o Melissa Hardcastle-Plott Memorial Fund. The account number is 4642722871. All donations will go directly toward funeral expenses.
