  • It'd be cheaper to put a bullet in him...

  • Not a harsh enough punishment.

  • I agree not harsh enough and a bullet may b cheaper but want him to suffer like joe did. My 3yr old tells me multiple times a day how he misses daddy so much and wishes he was here and with us. I hurt for his child as well. Because of that night these innocent kids hav to be without their loved ones and it makes me sick. I cry every time he looks at me and wants to watch daddy on youtube.

  • I do not think this punishment is good enough either. It is not fair that he gets to live, and see his child, and family, when Joe's family and kids can't. Why do we as tax payers need to continue to pay for such trash?

  • Let's repeat this sentence when Wittig gets to his final court appearance......

  • For those criminals who have no respect for the lives of their victims, why should we respect the criminal's life? I truly believe some people deserve nothing less than the death penalty, and THIS would be one of those cases.

  • Be thankful the trial wasn't Putnam County. Been waiting over 2yrs. to see my son's murderer go to trial. I guess when the prosecutor has ties to the murderers family if you wait long enough all the witnesses will disappear and enough palms will get some grease that it will all go away. IS THERE JUSTICE????

  • This to me is just sick way of way of punishment....He needs to know the feeling of "im going to die" like he did to Joe. But it would be to easy to give him the needle. It seem not fair for the time in prison. But we all know that in prison there is a bigger badder bubba that has been locked up for a long time. And all the violence jeremy has done he won't be able to handle it when he comes across the wrong one in prison. Im sure that he deserved alot longer and alot worse but in the end he will get it. His judgement in the end will be what matters most. I just hope and pray for Joes family to find comfort and for the victims of this to overcome this and be able to live on. What a tragic time they are have to be going through!
