The trust commemorating one of Speedway's founding police commissioners has announced the award of its current year education/community service grants. This year the foundation made awards to a total of four recipients, including one from Putnam County.

Grants are available for any educational opportunity to adults or youth with a relationship to the Speedway Police Department. Tax-deductible donations may be made to the Merrill S. Lawler Foundation, 838 Woodlyn Dr. South, Cincinnati, OH 45230.
