To the Editor and Putnam County Citizens:
On behalf of the Putnam County Senior Center, the center volunteers and I wish to thank those people and groups who contributed greatly to our Senior Health Fair: our vendors, the community businesses who donated prizes for bingo, Eric Bernsee and the staff of the Banner Graphic, Chris Styleburg of Jack's Fine Foods of Brazil, Dale Jessup, Tim Sutherlin and the Putnam County Sheriff's Department, Larry Patrick and his musical friends and, most importantly, the citizens who visited the fair for a most enjoyable and beneficial day.
The Senior Fair, which provides several health screenings, flu shots and other important information for senior citizens, is also a fundraiser for the center, and all the money is used right here in Putnam County to benefit the people of our county and the many programs at the center.
We are greatly appreciative of our supporting vendors: Anthem; Visiting Angels; Horizon Hospice Care; Hearing Care Professionals; Hayes, Murphy, Sharp and Brackney Insurance; Case Chiropractic; Area 7 Agency on Aging and Disabled; Putnam County Public Library; The Waters; Putnam County Hospital; Midwest Medical Services; Hickory Creek at Sunset; Summerfield Healthcare; Mill Pond; New Hope Hospice; Comfort Keepers; Ivy Trace Catered Living; Whisper Hearing Center; Beltone Hearing Care; Vista Care Hospice; Southern Care; Fresenius Medical Care; Autumn Glen Senior Community; Indiana Home Care Plus; Putnam County Democrats; Merle Norman Beauty Center; Asbury Towers; C&D Medical Equipment; JKD Theraby and Body Werx; HBG Insurance and Bonds; Humana; Hunter Law Offices; Intrepid Healthcare Services; Acron Stairlift; North Salem State Bank; On Guard Security Solutions; Visiting Nurse Service at St. Francis; Putnam County Republicans; and Nightingale Hospice.
