City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department went on several runs recently.

* On Friday, Sept. 28 at 2:22 p.m. crews responded to an alarm at 106 S. Spring St. They returned to station at 3:07 p.m.

At 3:13 p.m. they were dispatched to 105 W. Hanna St., but were disregarded in station.

* On Saturday, Sept. 29 at 12:10 a.m. firefighters were dispatched to 110 Larabee St. for an alarm. They were back in service at 12:28 a.m.

At 2:34 a.m. they returned to 106 S. Spring St. responding to an alarm and got back to the station at 2:44 a.m.

At 10:14 a.m. crews were dispatched to 307 S. College Ave. for an alarm. They were in service at 10:26 a.m.

At 2:35 p.m. firefighters went to 481 Ridgeland Rd. for a lift assist. They returned to station at 2:49 p.m.

At 6:44 p.m. crews went to the corner of Jackson and Washington streets to clean up fuel from an auto accident. They were in service at 7:12 p.m.
