NAPA Celebrates Move

Tuesday, October 9, 2012

The move was completed earlier this year, but NAPA Auto Parts (Greencastle Automotive Supply) recently celebrated the opening of its new location at 105 S. Warren Dr. with a Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. After more than 50 years in the small shop at Franklin and Vine streets, the larger store and ample parking have been a boon to business. "It's been fantastic" owner Bill Hamm said. "We've seen a real increase in traffic because of the parking." He noted the new location has also allowed for an inventory increase and expanded hours. NAPA is now open 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. NAPA employee Will Trimble (front left) helped Bill and Karen Hamm cut the ribbon on the new shop while the Chamber and community were represented by (back from left) Chamber Executive Director Tammy Amor, Laurie Hardwick, Bret Hurley, Nancy Michael, James Knoebel, Susan Flater, Laura Lee Bollman, Mayor Sue Murray, Emily Zimmerman, Beth Flint and Michael Clampitt.
