Westbound ramps at Cloverdale to close for resurfacing

CLOVERDALE -- As part of the ongoing Interstate 70 resurfacing projects, the westbound ramps at U.S. 231 (Exit 41) will undergo four separate closures between Oct. 20 and 25.

The closures will begin Saturday for milling and resurfacing of the Cloverdale ramps. Crews plan the following schedule for closures:

* 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 to 6 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, westbound I-70 exit ramp to U.S. 231

* 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, U.S. 231 on ramp to westbound I-70

* 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, westbound I-70 exit ramp to U.S. 231

* 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, U.S. 231 on ramp to westbound I-70

This project on I-70 will resurface the interstate from Cloverdale to Little Point. It was awarded to Rieth-Riley Construction for $10.49 million. The project is scheduled for completion in November of this year.
