Prostate screening slots left for Nov. 6 effort at PCH

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, Putnam County Hospital will be hosting prostate screens for the men of Putnam and surrounding counties.

The screen is an annual event sponsored by Putnam County Hospital Cancer Center. A few slots remain for the Nov. 6 effort.

The screens will be conducted by appointment only. To schedule a screen, persons must contact the Cancer Center at 655-2581.

The screens will take place from 8 a.m. to noon and 5-7 p.m. with Dr. Palanca and Dr. Downen in the Outpatient Specialty Clinic on the third floor at PCH.

The physician exam is at no charge. A $10 laboratory fee will be collected for the PSA blood test.
