Students at Cloverdale Elementary School recently kicked off the school year with a "SCORE a Smore" party. Admission to this party was granted by students saving their SCORE tickets to trade in.

SCORE tickets are given to students that are caught making positive and good choices. The SCORE program is the positive behavior program at the school. Each month the school hosts a special celebration party with different themes. The students are usually treated to music, snacks, and a variety of door prizes are given away.

This month's theme,"SCORE a Smore" found students getting to travel to the school's nature park. There they found a campfire where the students were able to toast a marshmallow then assemble their very own smore.

Students then had time to play in the nature park area or dance to their favorite tunes. Door prizes of an automatic entry to the next party, several beanie babies, a few mystery envelopes with different amounts of SCORE tickets and a grand prize of $20 dollars in game cash from Incredible Pizza were given out.
