Nonprofits to learn about collaboration at November workshop

The Putnam County Community Foundation announced the November workshop for nonprofits, churches and units of government.

The workshop is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Crawfordsville Country Club.

The workshop is $15 if registered and paid for by Nov. 5 and $25 after that date and at the door. The cost includes the workshop, a catered lunch and all workshop materials.

Mike Stone, founder of Impact Strategies, has more than 18 years of experience in educational and nonprofit administration.

At the workshop, he will provide attendees with a foundation to understand and talk about the various forms of nonprofit collaboration and discuss factors which positively and negatively affect successful collaborations.

The workshop is designed to provide attendees with an understanding of how nonprofit organizations can more fully achieve their missions through successful collaborations.

The Non-Profit Learning Series is designed to advance non-profit associations, organizations, churches, and units of government. To register, mail or deliver payment to Putnam County Community Foundation, 2 S. Jackson St., Greencastle, IN 46135.

The Putnam County Community Foundation is a nonprofit public charity established in 1985 to administer endowments, award grants and provide leadership, enriching the quality of life and strengthening community in Putnam County.
