Larry Wetnight

Senior Education Ministries has scheduled Dine With a Doc to be held on the fourth Monday of every month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the First National Bank.

This month, the doctor of the month will be Larry Wetnight CHHC, AADP. Larry Wetnight is a Holistic Health Coach with a certification by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP).

Passionate about exercise since high school, Larry never made the connection that what we eat plays a large role in our health until recent years when he realized the great importance food has in our living a quality life.

He is driven to search for optimal wellness plans that positively impact one's overall health. It's Larry's belief that eating healthful food, exercise and a large dose of a "merry heart" will improve one's overall health.

Larry will show simple steps and proven strategies to help understand why people crave sugar and how to break the craving. This Dine With a Doc program is sure to help one feel better, look better and have more energy.

Dine With a Doc is a free program that welcomes the local senior public to hear the doctor of the month focus on an educational topic while enjoying lunch. The program is a community effort of a doctor, a lunch sponsor, area businesses and a local church in the community coming together for the good of senior citizens.

Brunch will be complimentary and provided courtesy of Autumn Glen.

A question and answer period will be held after Wetnight's seminar and before brunch. There will be an opening prayer and Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of the program. There will also be various health care providers present to share information about their services.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling (877) 223-6109. For more information about this event, please call Senior Education Ministries Inc. at (812) 230-7772 or email loriaplin@gmail.com. Check out the website at senioreducationministries.org or dinewithadoc.com.
