County Jail

Three people were booked into the Putnam County Jail on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

* At 11:50 a.m. Bobby Allen McGraw, 39, Cambridge City, was arrested for battery with bodily injury and probation violation.

* At 1:45 p.m. Robert Jay Flatt, 45, no city listed, was lodged at the jail for burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

* At 7:28 p.m. Dee Ann Bergstrom, 57, Cloverdale, was charged with operating while intoxicated.

Sheriff's Department

On Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 5:12 p.m. Avis I. Clark, 77, Mooresville, was southbound on State Road 75 approaching U.S. 40 in a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox.

As the driver approached the stop sign, she hit the gas instead of the brake. The vehicle crossed all four lanes of U.S. 40, coming to rest when it struck the guardrail on the south side of the road.

Clark was transported from the scene with a shoulder/upper arm injury. Her passenger, Joellen Lloyd, 37, Mooresville, was transported for severe head bleeding.

Damage was estimated at $5,001-$10,000.
