Turkey comeback highlighted at McCloud on Saturday

On Saturday, Nov. 17, McCloud Nature Park will be featuring a program highlighting the comeback of the turkey in Indiana. The event starts at 2 p.m. in the Nature Center.

Information about its comeback, its call and vocalizations and the interesting life cycles of the various Indiana subspecies will be shared.

The program is designed for all ages and will last approximately 90 minutes.

McCloud Nature Park is operated by Hendricks County Parks and Recreation and is located five minutes south of North Salem at 8518 North Hughes Road.

Admission is always free and the park is open from dawn to dusk daily. The Nature Center's hours are Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
