Hazel Broadstreet

Hazel Broadstreet, 81, Center Point, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

She was born Aug. 6, 1931 in New Jersey to John and Hazel Haberle.

Hazel enjoyed wintering in Florida, spending time with her grandchildren and friends, making crafts and giving a hug to everyone she knew.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Cunot and attended Big Walnut Baptist Church.

Hazel was preceded in death by her previous husband, J. Alfred "Broady" Broadstreet, daughter Hazel Stone, son Michael Broadstreet, granddaughter Angie Stone and brother Jack Haberle.

Survivors Include her companion, Gerald Rogers, Center Point; sons Jeff (Julia) Broadstreet, Bloomington, Jim (Donna) Broadstreet, Solsberry, Ind., and Edward Wick, Billings, Mont.; daughters Loretta (Ken) Jolliff, Greencastle, Mary Ellen Ballard, Summerville, S.C., and Jennifer (Dake) Detro, Russellville; brother Robert (Sue) Haberle, Greencastle; sister-in-law Mildred McClure, Cloverdale; 25 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
