Stuffing Stockers

Residents of Bainbridge celebrated Thanksgiving week with their annual pitch-in dinner on Sunday. The event has taken place in the Bainbridge Community Building since it was built 12 years ago, but it was held in church basements every year before that. "Everybody pitches in," Thursa Evens said. "It's a big community event." Tables covered with turkey, stuffing, potatoes, beans, slaw, noodles, salad, a variety of desserts and more spanned nearly the girth of the building, all of it donated by community members for the free dinner.
