Cloverdale middle school hoops win

Cloverdale's seventh and eighth grade boy's basketball team each picked up a victory over Eminence recently. The seventh grade squad won 29-18. Tyce Jackson had eight points, 12 rebounds and six steals. Nick Winders (six points), Dominic Brooks (five), Dyan Scott (four), T.J. Hagymasi (two) and Jimmy Tate (two) contributed.

The eighth grade team ran away with a 50-36 victory. Cooper Neese scored 32, and was helped by Ryan Heavener (eight), Seth Rhaff (four), Chad Steven (four) and Kolten Cooper (two).

Both coaches Boyette and Neese said their teams played well defensively.
