Tiger Cubs top Clovers in middle school basketball

CLOVERDALE -- The seventh and eighth grade boys' basketball teams of Greencastle proved to be too much for the Clovers as the Tiger Cubs came away with a two-game sweep recently.

Dominic Brooks had 15 points for the seventh grade Clovers, but the Greencastle defense was too much and the Tiger Cubs won 43-22.

Nick Winders (three), Tyce Jackson (two) and Steven Allen also scored for the Clovers.

In the eighth grade game Greencastle won 43-32. Cooper Neese led the Clovers with 20 points, followed by Seth Phaff's five, Ryan Heavener's four and Kolton Cooper's three.
