Deborah Susan Bryant, age 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, Dec.10, 2012.
Born April 25, 1949 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Richard R. and Dorothy J. (Schneider) Strouse.
She was a 1967 graduate of Thomas Carr Howe High School.
She married Everett Wm. "Bill" Bryant on May 4, 1968, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1993.
Deborah was a clinical service technician with Indiana University Health, Indianapolis, for several years.
Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Susan Bryant, of Atlanta; her son, William Gregory Bryant, of Indianapolis; her mother, Dorothy Strouse, of Indianapolis; sisters Terry (Marlon) Coleman of Pueblo, Colo., and Jennifer (Gary) Huckleberry of Indianapolis; a brother, Richard (Teresa) Strouse, of Indianapolis; sisters-in-law Anne Meyer and Jackie Wade; three grandchildren, Lyric Octavia, Hayden Kelly and Brendan Everett Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father and sister Kathleen L. Strouse.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.
Viewing will be held from 3 p.m. Saturday until time of service at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be held on May 4, 2013 at Brick Chapel Cemetery, with times to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Deborah Bryant requests donations be mailed to the Transplant Emergency Fund, IU Health University Hospital, 550 N. University Blvd., Room 4601, Indianapolis, IN 46202, in memory of Deborah Bryant to the "Methodist Health Foundation-Transplant."
